Center Forward is seeking an attentive, organized Project Manager who is inspired by our mission to give centrist allies the information they need to craft common sense solutions, and provide those allies the support they need to turn those ideas into results.
The primary role of the Project Manager in the organization is to ensure that the details of special project work and programming is completed in a timely and accurate manner. The Project Manager will work closely with the Director of Programming, Executive Director, and CEO to ensure all special projects and programming are successfully completed. The Project Manager will succeed by:
- Drafting special project proposals
- Leading several large projects at one time including conferences, programming, polling and research, and more
- Creating timelines, action plans, calendars, booking equipment, ordering supplies, etc.
- Supporting the CEO and Executive Director on specific tasks such as copyediting, work tracking completion, scheduling meetings and follow-up check-ins
- Tracking and compiling information and metrics to account for goal measurement and organizational success
- Researching and updating logistical and other key information for policy projects & events
- Locating and tracking all project- & event-specific goals and metrics, details, and core objective to distribute to relevant parties
- Providing updates and alerts as to how the organization is performing against annual goals (quantitative and qualitative measures)
- Supporting donor engagement & maintenance by ensuring stakeholder priorities are being achieved
- Ordering and booking equipment, supplies, venues, and entertainment

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Expertise in GSuite, including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Knowledge of government, legislative, and executive processes is helpful, but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

The salary range for the Project Coordinator position (salaried, exempt) is $60,000 – $70,000 USD.
