Ryan McAlpin is the Outreach and Engagement Manager for Center Forward. He joined the team in March 2023, bringing to the role operational skills, experience in campaigns and congressional offices, and a mission-driven approach to building successful and meaningful relationships. In this role, Ryan will focus on improving stakeholder engagement in Center Forward programming and sustaining the quality level of events many have come to know as the organization continues to grow.

Prior to joining Center Forward, Ryan was at the Democratic Governors Association (DGA) for three years on their operations team. Ryan has also interned for then-Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul (D-NY), Congressman Joe Morelle (D-NY), Congressman Alan Lowenthal (D-CA), and Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in his D.C. leadership office and New York constituent offices.

Ryan is an Eagle Scout and a Rochester, New York native. He graduated from the University at Albany – State University of New York, where he studied Political Science/Government, History, and Business. He has been in the Washington, D.C. area since September 2019.
